Another way-back flashback...

Does anyone else out there in nail blogland remember scented nail polish? It was a big trend back in the late '90s (probably '96-'99; I remember it was while I was in middle school). I've looked it up and found candy scents, but I remember back then they had popular scents such as Tommy Girl (one that I particularly detest, I should add). Whatever happened to those? Do any of you still have a bottle or rocked it? Hit me up.

I remember those. I still have a lip smacker's nail polish that's supposed to smell like vanilla. It's a bit on the thick side though.

When I was in junior high, I had one of those Bonne Belle scented topcoats. Then I started frankening my own by adding small amounts of perfume to my nail polish. I started young. :P

I definitely do remember those! I had one called flirty, I think it was bonnie bell? They also had it in a scent stick and body spray. The np wasn't even close to what it smelled like.
I also remember there were some Xmas ones that supposedly smelled like eggnog. But not really.

Savvy--I remember my old ones being particularly goopy, and quickly after being bought, too.

Gina--I've never thought about that...but then again, I love my bottle of Calvin Klein Escape way too much :)

Nessa--ew, eggnog? That makes me want to retch, lol

Brooke--it's okay! I have a feeling that sniffing nail polish can't be too healthy, and I think those were definitely pre-anti-Big Three days!
